A New Chapter My days of teaching at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce have come to a close. I have moved from Bangkok and now live in the small market town of Khukhan in Northeast Thailand -- known as Isaan. I teach at Chalerm Karnchana College in Si Saket. The students are friendly and polite and a joy to teach. My time at UTCC was rewarding and fulfilling in many ways. I appreciate the chance to teach and learn and to make friends. Now it is time for me to move on to another chapter in my life. I hope that students -- recent or from the distant past -- stay in touch. It means a lot to teachers when students don't forget them. Some of my students from America that I taught 20 years ago are still in contact. That's special. |
